The evening will begin with a delightful meet and greet at Bala Lake, scheduled for 5:30 pm. As the day trippers start to depart, we'll turn up and have the perfect opportunity to have a look around everyone's cars, engage in friendly conversations, and capture some memorable photographs. After enjoying this pleasant gathering, we'll set off on our adventure.

Our first stop takes us to the magnificent Llyn Vyrnwy Dam, an ideal location to capture awe-inspiring pictures of your car. En route, we'll traverse the remarkable B4391, a road that possesses an unmistakable charm. Leaving Bala behind, we ascend towards the majestic Berwyn mountains, witnessing a breath-taking transformation of the landscape. The shift from a modest and utilitarian terrain to the awe-inspiring grandeur of the moorlands is truly captivating. Despite being classified as a B-road, the B4391 showcases remarkable engineering prowess, earning well-deserved commendation. Interestingly, on Saturday afternoons, it seems to remain pleasantly devoid of traffic, like a well-kept secret.

Undoubtedly, the B4391 has been meticulously crafted by skilled road builders. Unlike arduous switchback climbs, this road propels you upwards with the precision of an arrow—swift, direct, and purposeful. It offers excellent sightlines that grant clear views of the road ahead. Any imperfections typically encountered on mountainous routes have been carefully smoothed out, ensuring a luxuriously smooth journey. As you accelerate uphill, embracing the spirited pace of 50mph, accompanied by the resounding roar of your engine, an overwhelming sense of euphoria envelops you.

From the dam, our route loops around, passing through Dolgellau before turning right at Ffestiniog and embarking on the other section of the B4391, leading us back towards Bala.
